Christy and Chris McFarland are an author and illustrator duo living in Normal, IL. Together, they created Narwin the Narwhal: A Friend Like Me. Their five-star reviewed book encourages kids to be themselves and accept others just as they are.

 

Christy has spent the past 14 years writing professionally in a corporate setting, currently working full-time as a content designer in tech. Chris serves his community as a firefighter and paramedic on the Bloomington Fire Department. They love spending time with their two boys, ages 9 and 4.
